This original mixed media work on paper draws inspiration from the layered landscape of the Irish countryside, where stone walls, flowering hedgerows, and shifting weather create a sense of quiet enclosure and discovery. Softened greens, lavender, blush, and atmospheric neutrals move across the surface in passages that feel both grounded and ephemeral.

 

Developed through layered gesture, revision, and observation, the work balances structure and openness while allowing forms to emerge gradually over time. The result is a composition that rewards sustained attention, revealing new relationships and rhythms with each viewing.
