From time to time, Mary Elizabeth Marvin accepts a limited number of commissioned works and project collaborations that align closely with her studio practice. These projects are approached as an extension of her series-based work, rather than as open-ended customization.

Commissions are considered when a collector or project partner is seeking a specific scale, format, or spatial presence within the established language of a body of work. Emphasis remains on restraint, cohesion, and long-term placement.

Approach

Commissioned works are developed through a thoughtful, collaborative process grounded in dialogue and trust. Marvin retains creative direction throughout, allowing each piece to resolve with the same care and integrity as her non-commissioned work.

Projects unfold slowly and deliberately. Availability is limited, and not all inquiries can be accommodated.

Projects requiring rapid turnaround, stylistic replication, or decorative matching are not accepted.
