A Certain Wildness moves between landscape and abstraction, where broad passages of open sky meet shifting bands of unexpected color. Familiar suggestions of horizon and terrain emerge and recede without resolving into a particular place, allowing the painting to remain open to memory and interpretation. There is freedom in its color and movement, balanced by an expansive quiet that invites the eye to wander.
