Ink + Petals is an ongoing body of work within my studio practice, developed slowly over time through observation, repetition, and refinement. The series is inspired by a long-standing fascination with seeds, seed pods, and plant forms, and a desire to strip those elements down to their simplest expression.

Created as 22 × 30 inch hand-painted works on heavy paper, each original piece explores gesture, rhythm, and surface. Layered mark-making and tonal variation are used to suggest the tactile quality of woodblock printing, allowing form and negative space to remain in quiet balance.
